about me
I'm a raging socialist and grade-A hater. My greatest joy is complaining about things; be ready for that lol.On a more positive note, my #1 hobby is writing and one day I hope to be a published author. I'm always down to talk about the things I'm writing. In fact, if you ask me questions about the things I'm writing, that would make my entire week <3Also I love robots. Tag me in any posts about robots and we will be best friends forever.
And most importantly, I have three cats!! Check 'em out!!
my writing
I'm a wannabe author. You can read about the novels I'm actively writing here. If you ever feel inclined to ask me about them that would just about make my day.So far I've never been published, but I'm working on changing that.
Current project:
“You know what this means,” Masami said, looking at the sisters. They looked back at her, clearly not knowing. She huffed and continued. “Who obviously built him, I mean.”He looked up at Masami- he didn’t need to know what the Guild was or what the Resistance was to understand what she was suggesting, and that made him more terrified than anything else she’d said the entire night.Izumi stood up. “You aren’t- you don’t really think that-”Toru cut in. “We’ve been looking for those blueprints for the Guild’s new weapon, but Izumi... what if they already finished it? What if... it’s him?”Akashi is an android. That's all he knows for certain. Everything else that he should be able to remember is just static, and that is a suspicious thing when there's a group of fascists who have taken over Japan. The resistance isn't much- their numbers are too few and it's being led by a handful of teens- so they're willing to overlook that suspicion if it means maybe using the Guild’s own weapon against them. Now Akashi is trying to prove he's not what they think he is, not just to the resistance but also to himself. And if it's possible, he's hoping to find a person who will make him feel like more than just a machine along the way.You can follow (or block) #automata or #akashiThis is the main thing I'm working on these days. If you tag me in an ask game about things I'm writing, my answers will be about Automata.(Art by @centuryruin on Tumblr)
Previous project (shelved indefinitely):
Syesha walked slowly through the basement, taking in the contrasting vibe from upstairs. The sparse furniture was all about a decade out of style and seemed to be physically falling in on itself. Upstairs the big house may have not had many people living in it, but it still felt alive. Not here. It was like this part of the house had died along with Alistair. What a morbid thought. She shook her head as she passed the first door. The bedroom was ahead of her. She hadn’t been down here for more than half a minute, but she was already ready to find the cat and get out. She hadn’t anticipated just how creepy it would be down here. She pushed the door open and made a single tiny step into the room.Appy was there at the foot of the bed, but she barely registered seeing him. She took one look before she jumped back screaming.Appy was at the foot of the bed. And on top of it there was a boy reaching down to pet him.Syesha has always felt alone and invisible. But when she meets Super- a foul-mouthed ghost who truly is both of those things, who for some reason only she can see, who looks at her like she's something special, Syesha may have finally found something to make her life feel full for the first time. There's just one question: is it possible to make romance with a ghost work? You can follow (or block) #ten damn years, #super, or #my stupid ghost bookI'm not actively working on it right now, but I plan to pick it back up again someday and still talk about it from time to time.
